Not concerned about Gregory. Moreso about the way the FO/Stephen Jones handled the contract of a player they clearly wanted back. Then to compound their idiocy regarding paperwork, they use none of the saved money on getting better at the position he vacated..

I understand that part of it, but so many seem to have some kind of personal attachment to Gregory when in reality he's a totally forgettable player in Cowboys history.

I guess that's a sign of how bad our defense was for so long that he's seen as some kind of great player.

Personally, I think Sam Williams will be much better than Gregory ever was. I know he'll be more available.

Actually the league should get rid of the preseason game ballot dances and do more of these scrimmages. These actually prepare teams for the season.
