Yeah, there are some rules in place. It's the same for every team.

It is a mandatory mini-vacation during the bye week. They couldn't all agree to skip it even if they wanted to, that is in the CBA.

It is what they need right now in a very big way.

The need to heal physically and get thier heads back together. A little time away from a rigorous first 9 weeks could help.
