Cowboys can get some divisional help during bye

Philly is going to beat Minnesota. It's going to be one of those "how did that happen?" type NFL games. While I don't think the Eagles are a great team, I just don't seem them losing 4 in a row, which would happen if they lost to both Minny and us. Then after that they have Atlanta and Seattle. They are going to win a game along the line here, and I hope it's not against us.

I think they'll steal this weekend's game but then possibly lost the next two after that - @Dallas and @NY.

Philly has a turnstile at RT right now they're going to have some issues

Regardless of how it all turns out, I'll have the pig in the ground and the beer on ice and all my deepest hopes will be that they all lose outrightttttttt!

Vikings aren't legit in my opinion. If they had Peterson still I'd feel a lot better about them. Their defense is great yes but you at least have to have one playmaker on offense. Teams with great defenses and not as offenses like the Broncos last year and the Seahawks a few years ago at least had guys like Demaryius Thomas and Marshawn Lynch. These Vikings have an average QB, so-so running backs without AP, and Stefon Diggs who is good but not elite. With that being said, I think it's completely possible the Eagles beat the Vikings this week. Think the Giants will beat the Rams as well. Skins-Lions game is a toss up.
Diggs is 6th in yards per game (and that with an average QB and so-so running backs as you said), so he's knocking on the door of elite.

No way Philly beats Minny....
  1. That Minn DLine is going to run Wentz ragged
  2. Bradford will be looking to make a statement to the team that traded him away

Ideally, the Vikings beat the Eagles and also physically punish the Eagles (while the Eagles also dish out some physical punishment)

Vikings should handle the Eagles to extend their 2 games skid,

Lions have won 2 in a row and always tough at home which leaves Skins prime to end their 4 game winning streak .

And Giants have a loseable game at LA.

Rooting against our divisional foes is always the best game of interest when we're not playing.
BTW.. the NY/LA is Sun Nite game.

I think the Eagles upset the Vikings and Bradford throws 2 picks.

Having grown up in the Detroit area, there is one immutable truth you learn: Never underestimate the ability of the Lions to fail.....

I actually expect the skins to beat the lions this sunday. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I will be.

I kind of agree with some of you (that I get the feeling Eagles may take this game) but Wentz seems to be coming back down to Earth some and that Minn defense is pretty damn legit. Could be a long day for him. That and you know Bradford has a HUGE chip on his shoulder in this game. I guess time will tell.

While I hate Philly with a passion, wouldn't it be in the Cowboys interest for the Eagles to win this weekend, since the Vikings are undefeated?

And, they say that politics makes for strange bedfellows.

Cmon, man. Have a little respect for them.

Beware of the Commanders. Remember just how close that first game was. You can throw a blanket over this division.

Get what you're saying, but that was week 2. We've improved a lot since then.

Honestly the only teams in the league that would make me a bit squeamish meeting in the playoffs are the hawks, pats, falcons at home. The way we are playing plus getting Dez back and Tank 100% we are a top 5 team. Really no reason we shouldn't be in the mix for the bowl this year.

None of those teams really scare me, and I think we beat the Seahawks by 2 TDs. This year's team is clearly better than the 2014 version, and not sure you can really say the same about Seattle. Actually, maybe the Pats, because you know Belichick will try his hardest to find some way to cheat, steal the playbook, poison the Dallas breakfast buffet, or whatever. I'm not kidding about any of those things and probably missing several. Atlanta? Bring on Julio Jones. Another top WR we'll shut down and bracket. I've seen enough to know that's a thing our D is fully capable of now.

Since IMO we match up so well against the eagles, I'm actually torn this weekend. My preferences in order:

1. The eagles win a squeaker in a sloppy game that exposes a major weakness of the Vikings. This way we are one game closer to home-field advantage.

2. The eagles lose in an embarrassing blowout that leaves Wentz shell shocked and on the path to bustville. The sheer entertainment value of rants from eagle fans would be immeasurable.

I would prefer they beat the snot out of the Eagles and lose to us.
