Two things.

1) It's preseason so I dont put a ton of stock in this.

2) That being said, it's pretty clear he's played well enough to be one of thr 5-6 CBs on the 53. Gilmore, Bland, Lewis, Diggs and Joseph are locks.

I feel really good about the secondary and the overall depth there at both CB and S. I think one would be hard pressed to find a group in the NFL clearly more talented than our secondary.

I probably just jinxed us.

I don't believe it until diggs gets injured and he's forced to play more than he's ever played before. He's going to draw a lot of PI calls

With Joseph playing well it now makes me question the overall final team corner numbers and pecking order. More specifically:
- Assuming Diggs and Gilmore are the wide guys and Bland in the slot to start, are Joseph and Scott now CBs 4 and 5?
- And then there's how will the team manage Lewis and Wright's injuries with regards to their availability? PS or even cut?

- And lastly, should Izzy count against CB numbers or will he continue to play in the corner-safety hybrid role or as safety depth?

I want to see it in an actual game. So we will see how it goes.

He hasn't been playing against the best talent these pre-season games but it is nice to see some improvement. He is another kid that has the physical gifts to be great but his peripheral issues seem to impact his play and performance.

When we were hearing that he wasn't doing much his rookie year, I said that I was disappointed. He wasn't my favorite pick. I was reminded that it's preseason and to give him a chance. And all I was thinking was that I'd rather be hearing good stuff than bad stuff.

Fast forward to this year and I'm hearing good stuff. I still understand that it's only preseason. But, it's positive and that's encouraging. I genuinely hope it translates to Sundays. Nothing would be better than for my early impressions to be wrong. I'm rooting for him.

Even though it is only pre-season it does look like KJ has improved his coverage skills and ball awareness. I hope it carries over into the regular season, although I doubt he sees much playing time at CB.

Could see him moving Bland off the slot
