Yes you did.Two things.
1) It's preseason so I dont put a ton of stock in this.
2) That being said, it's pretty clear he's played well enough to be one of thr 5-6 CBs on the 53. Gilmore, Bland, Lewis, Diggs and Joseph are locks.
I feel really good about the secondary and the overall depth there at both CB and S. I think one would be hard pressed to find a group in the NFL clearly more talented than our secondary.
I probably just jinxed us.

First off, knocking the rust off is different than using "stats or metrics" in preseason to show if a player is good going up against third stringers....He's an early second round selection, he should be a starter by now, but he isn't and he should be good against third and fourth stringers in preseason...but I guess you want to conflate...wait.... I thought preseason mattered? I mean I keep reading in here how we need our starters to "Knock the rust off."
What's funny is watching all the guys screaming he sucks and needs to be cut......... we are talking about the 5th CB here (well 4th until Lewis is back). LOL. I would wager Joseph is certainly not worse than most 4th-5th CBs in the NFL. So then why would we cut him and his cheap contract? It’s good news that a former 2nd round pick is playing well.
You think Joseph would start over Bland in the slot?Could see him moving Bland off the slot
I know you aren’t talking to me but… no, I do not think that. Bland is better. You think Joseph would start over Bland in the slot?
Some will never forgive him for having bad friends. While others are apparently related to Nahshon Wright. What's funny is watching all the guys screaming he sucks and needs to be cut......... we are talking about the 5th CB here (well 4th until Lewis is back). Don’t think so right now but I could see it in the future if Bland has a sophomore slumpYou think Joseph would start over Bland in the slot?
1st“…3rd highest graded defensive back amongst corners that have been present during a shooting.”
Yep,...big difference covering WR4 and 5....and future fork lift drivers at Lowe's . Need to see it in real games going up against WR1 and WR2.... But it is encouraging and won't rain on anyone's parade here for now. Time for the light to come on in his head finally.Lets see him against WR1 and WR2 types a few games.
Ill say this, the tail end of 2021 when he got playing time was very promising. Before his incident alot of people were excited about him. Im hoping his head just got in his way in 2022 after the shootingTwo things.
