Per Pro Football Reference.

Trevon Diggs

38 targets. 18 completions. 47.4%. 6.5 yards per target. 0 TD's allowed. 6 INT's. 10 PD's. 28.4 QB rating allowed

Anthony Brown

45 targets. 27 competitions. 60%. 8.9 yards per target. 2 TD's allowed. 2 INT's. 6 PD's. 85.3 QB rating allowed

Jourdan Lewis

26 targets. 18 completions. 69.2%. 9.4 yards per target. 2 TD's allowed. 1 INT. 2 PD's. 108.7 rating allowed

In addition to Anthony Brown stats, he leads the league in yards depth per completion at 12.7 yards. That’s the average yards of completion against him. So pretty much every catch against him is a first down or big play.

Also Browns qb rating is way below the league average so that’s a good stat and that’s his second lowest qb rating allowed of his career

so is Kris Richard

so why is Nahshon Wright not starting yet?

Because he's a rookie, who doesn't have the strength or flexibility to match up with the quick WR's we are facing. Kelvin Joseph will be taking over for Brown once he gets back from IR and is fully healthy. That is the rookie that's coming for Browns job.

Doubt that - missed way too much time for a rookie. They'll easy him in in some sub packages but he's not taking over just cause he's healthy.

By looking at these stats Lewis appears to be the weak link. Sort of invalidates the merits of what stats are supposed to mean.
