And it was considered a privilege to be a cheerleader, not a job.

Still they deserved more even back then.

The rumor is that they will be paid $75/hr for practices and $100/hr for games. In addition, they will be paid for appearances. This translates to a living wage. It's about time! I wonder if other teams will follow suit.

a living wage is more like $30 an hour, but Im glad for them

In short: Pay went from roughly $15–$20/hr to around $75/hr—a full 400% increase.
That transforms potential earnings from $75K annually to well over $150K for veteran cheerleaders.

$150K for dancing.

Some people just have it easy.
