Cowboys closing on deal with Cooper Kupp

If we get Kupp, I assume, we will not be spending a first or maybe even second rounder on a WR, especially since we traded/blew a 4th rounder on getting Mingo. And don't forget we have Turp who should be used more a wr. I would love to get his speed on the field. Mingo and Turp would be our fastest WR's.

CD, Kupp, Turp, Minog, and Tolbert seems like a crowded WR room (without injuries).

I had a feeling we would be in on this. Not going to be cheap but the dude is a technician at his craft.
I like this move this will take the offense to a new level, we have improved in free agency it is a miracle. Remember this is Ol Jerry and Son I am talking about.

I meant the following year.

If he took a one year deal in Dallas and balled out, he cashes out next year
He doesn't have to. He'll get a mult year deal from a team that pays free agents and can avoid getting the stench of this team on him.

Now don't get me wrong, I'd love to have Kupp on the team but our ownership doesn't pay for players like this unless THEY draft them.

This is more about this FO than about Kupp

guess this spells no coming back for who wore #10 jersey in 2024, and also was named Cooper

I don’t understand the Mingo hate. It was a 4th round pick. Goodness. I would be more pissed at wasting first and second round picks the last two drafts.
Its because everyone agreed he could have been had for a 6th. Huge difference between a 4th round pick and a 6th round pick.

And it's not like he had any chance to help the team make the playoffs last year. It was simply Jerry panicking to keep Dallas in the news as the season was slipping away.

If they sign kupp, mingo is probably the 5th or 6th best wr on the team. Lamb, kupp, tolbert, and turpin are all better options. It was a clear waste of a 4th round pick

In all seriousness, does Schottenheimer's offense incorporate motion, crossing routes, drags, etc. like the play designs that McVay uses to get his guys so open? Would Kupp be successful in this Schotty's offense?

Obviously this is a hypothetical based on the latest reports regarding Dallas' interest in Kupp. But...
