Cowboys coach on not being done in free agency

Listening to this man, the one thing I picked up on that this is a leader of men. Its apparent that his strong personality is what leads men into battle.

Mike Tomlin looks like Truman Capote next to Der Schottenheimer
We shall see, I'm anxious to see him and his presence around this team. Things are going to be different just as long as he's not out there crying:(

That actually was the first time I've listened to Schotty speak that I came away thinking, "I'll never get those 60 seconds back." That was just generic fluff like we've heard a million times. It's okay. Head coaches have to do that on occasion, if not a lot. I knew it was coming at some point.

Would it not be something, if coach Shottenheimer turns out to be a great leader of men.I did not like the hire at first, but the coaching staff he has hired looks good. This guy sounds like he knows what he doing .If Dallas can nail down an A+ draft we may see an improvement in big D.

You can’t tell that by listening to someone. There were some who were impressed with everything Garrett had to say before he ever coached his first season. We’ll see if you feel the same way about Schotty during the season.

So they are probably done for now. Next comes the draft. Then as they figure out what they need and who teams start cutting we may see some movement. But will they grab a game changer? Likely not even if 1 is available.

Imagine Churchill saying "we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, We shall never surrender" but swap out all the fighting talk and replace it with diving in dumpsters.

I agree with your sentiment. I want to proven wrong about the hire because that's a good thing for everyone. Shott could be one of these guys that surprises us all if armed with the right talent.

I would rather it be delivered like general fluff than like Fat Mike's lipstick on a pig answers.
