CROD Productions brings the Dallas Cowboys to New Jersey
this summer for the Dallas Doomsday Shoot-Out
Cowboy fans will be pouring into the Poland Spring Arena at the Ritacco Center (located in Toms River, NJ) where fans will not only have the chance to check out their favorite Cowboy players up close, but a limited number of fans will actually be able to play in the game against the Cowboys. Those lucky few will also have the opportunity of being coached by Cowboys Legend Everson Walls.
"It’s really a once in a lifetime opportunity to compete against these incredible athletes," said James Kanowitz, Co-Founder, CROD Productions. "If it has always been your dream to play next to your Cowboy heroes, this is your chance."
Two time Pro Bowler DeMarcus Ware will lead his Doomsday team comprised of Marcus Spears, Jay Ratliff, Chris Canty, Sam Hurd, Stephen Bowen, and others. Spears was a heavily recruited basketball player coming out of high school but chose to stick with football.
"This really is an event for all ages," said actor/comedian Jimmy Palumbo, who will serve as the event’s Master of Ceremonies. "Kids will also have a blast throughout the day with ‘Rowdy,’ the team’s official mascot."
According to Joe Covino, Co-Founder, CROD Productions, "As a fan, it’s always nice to bring the Cowboys to New Jersey, a place where we both grew up. But what is more rewarding is being able to help out our great friend Everson Walls, who in our eyes, is everything a true hero should be." A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Ron Springs & Everson Walls Gift For Life Foundation. Last year, Walls saved his ex-teammate’s life with the most unselfish gift he could give; his kidney. The first ex-teammates to ever complete the procedure.
Since the "Play In the Game Experience" is only available to 15 players, having the ability to get up close and personal with the players does not end there. Fans will still have a chance to interact with the Cowboys at a "VIP Meet and Greet". Tickets for each, along with General Admission Tickets are available on the event’s CowboyHoops.com website
