Cowboys considered two QBs in draft

Ironic that Cleveland drafted him given the comments Deion made about how rookie QBs should steer clear of Cleveland (a few years back) and the follow-up that if a team they didn't want to play for picked him there would be a Manning situation.

He later backed off both comments, but you never can put that stuff back in the can.

Shedur didn't help his case with bad interviews. He looked great his pro day. But teams know it's all designed to show what he does well while hiding his flaws.

So you have limited mobility, wobbly passes, bad attitude, and as Mike Tomlin said, how well he fits with the QBs already in the room.

You don't draft someone who needs attention, hold handing, and a lot ego stroking.

And even Booger offered to give him character reference, but said he saw no purpose in drafting him.

The NFL said he's just not worth the headaches of all the trouble he brings.

End of story

He screams of a Johnny Manziel type for me, too much about himself, the arrogance, the bling, put on a pedestal, the cash and not willing to put in the real work to be an NFL quarterback...
At least Johnny Manziel was talented.

Quinn Ewers is pretty bad as well tbh. I would've looked at Will Howard.

False, he is WAY better than some of those QBs taken before him. If people don't see he was played by the league it's crazy. All because of how cocky he is
He totally blew off the Giants pre-draft playbook exercise. When Daboll asked him about it at their meeting, he apparently got pissy.

That’s more than being cocky

So much talk in Dallas these days. I “consider” eating scrambled eggs every day. Should I tell everyone that?

Regardless of what you think of Sanders, by the 5th round, does it matter? It's low risk.

I just don't understand the Browns. Why did they draft two QBs?
I’m hoping he flames out with the Browns and they cut him and Dallas picks him up for free and he becomes our guy.

Dallas should have drafted Dart, and surrounded him with $60M in free agent talent paid for by the money saved by letting Dak walk. If that failed, just do it again until you hit on a QB. Dallas is going nowhere without a credible QB.

Even Sanders plus $60M in free agent talent is probably better than Dak. More interesting if nothing else.

Oh yeah. The whole quarterback starved league passed on him JUST because he is cocky. Nothing else.
