So instead of trading for a decent LBer— our “solution” is to move our most dominant pass rusher from his best position?

He’s not doing much rushing like maniac. Move to lb and trade for one asap

That might be the end of LVE's career, not sure how many neck injuries you want to go through.

Time for Williams and Armstrong to step up, they have to move Micah Parsons LB on early downs.

I would at least call Denver and see what they want for Josey Jewell, rumor has it they are looking to restock and he is a name that has been floated quite a bit here in Denver.
He done! THANK GOD!~!!!!!1

We always knew LVE was one more neck injury from potentially having to call it career. Frankly I thought he was one when they diagnosed him with stenosis after the last time he went on IR. He's actually played a couple of nice years since then.

LB is one of our weak spots particularly against the run. LVE was a good not great run stopper and he was our best one. Not sure who’s going to make all the tackles now. Might need the middle of our DL to step up and show something.

I think he should hang em up for his own good. Too many neck injuries.

Im still at awe how that was not a flag for block in the back or holding on Trent Williams. But he has always been a dirty player. Refs let the 49ers get away with a few dirty plays.
sounds like there is a zone around the line where different types of blocks are legal

IR would mean atleast 4 weeks out

Hate to hear this for LVE, he is a trooper.

But lets keep it real, that neck was never going to last the season, was just a matter of how long before it popped.

Dude should just retire at this point, if he was smart with his money he should have enough to live comfortably for the rest of his life.

I hope he retires for his sake. Selfishly I hope he plays so our defense will be better but it's in his best interest to retire and enjoy life after football.
