I just wanna see our guys more focused and play better. I know they can which is why I was shocked at how bad all 3 of them played on Sunday. hopefully they get it together on Monday night.

He got beat pretty consistently. He's always been good helping out in the run game. But alot of corners can do a servicable job with that. We need guys who can cover. And i'm starting to believe Newman can't do that near as well as people give him credit for.

No. I want to see Jenkins and Scandrick get the time. They need to play through these rookie mistakes and gain experience. McCallister is a 1 or 2 year rental. What's the point?

They are second year players who got right much playing time as rookies so I expected them to better this year...

The Cowboys cb's as a group have alot of talent, now they haven't showed it so far this year, which leads me to believe it has to be the scheme and/or coaching. IMO its way to early to hit the panic button. As far as signing Mcallister, that would hurt the development of Scandrick, Jenkins, and Ball. Besides I wonder why no other team has picked up Mcallister. Is Mcallister considered too old now or asking for too much money? Let the young guys take their lumps.

You say our guy is always injured, then want to go get a guy thats older than Newman is and has had season ending injuries the last two years and didnt start half the games in those two yrs. McCallister's been in the league 10 yrs, wanna guess how many times he's played all 16 games?

Zone defense for the secondary is DEFEAT! Anyone playing Zone defense in the NFL for any extended time lacks the talent to cover man defense... Simple as that. If the secondary needs a blow..."rest"..call zone a few times..but not on 3rd and 10. The cowboys were in Zone most of the game. Newman has lost his technique..He's turning his shoulders to run the first 3 steps insted of backing out and waiting for a WR break. I think he still has the speed, but he's getting beat bad every game.
Don't know why Wade isn't beating on the X..Y..and Z at the line of scrimmage..a delay of 1 count in the passers rhythm will usually result in an incompletion or pass breakup. Wade is using defensive schemes his Dad used.

Are you available to join our defensive staff as secondary coach? I think you could teach Campo some things.

I was shocked at how bad TNew was in the Giants game. I expected to see Jenkins and Scan struggle at times, but the way TNew played was shocking. TNew did seem to tackle well, but that was about it. I expect to see him rebound over the next few weeks and get back on track. I just hope he doesn't have an injury that we haven't heard about. I know he did get banged up in the Giants game.
