I know I am jumping the gun but if Philly beats Chicago tonight, GB beats Chicago next week and then if we beat Philly we'll get the #3 seed. Parity at it's finest!

Keep it calm. We baerly beat one of the worst teams in the league. We couldn't beat a team with a winning record all season.

Cowboys are at best a medicore team. Eagles are playing really good football right now.
Of course anything can happen and hope dies at last. But from a logical point of view i hope we don't get embaressed too much next week.

By right now you mean today. They lost to a bad Vikings team last week.

It's not just college football with a screwed up playoff system...

The NFL playoff system is not screwed up. Sometimes things work out funny. That NFC West division produced a 7-9 division winner a few years ago and now have three teams with good records. It ain't perfect, but I think it is a good playoff system.

That was the Seahawks who won the division with a 7-9 record. They went on to host a playoff game and beat the 12-4 Saints.

I think the NFL should go to a one conference , no divisions, best 12 teams go to the NFL Playoffs...

Bad team or not, they put up 48 against the Eagles. That ain't good football.

Thats one game in 6. They right now beating a good chicago team. They've beaten a good Arizona team. They have beaten a good detroit team. They handled GB and the raiders in a way they should as a good team.

They installed a new HC and a new system. This team needed some time to adjust. They seem to just have done that and playing better late in the season.

I think Minnesota is not a bad team. So losing against them is not because they played really bad. But if you need this for your argumentation i give you that they shouldn't lost that game.

Still they played good football overall and the arrow is pointing up for them.

Eagles w/ Kelly should be set for the next couple of years or so.

I am very calm actually lol. I just think it's crazy that it's possible for us to be the #3 seed. I don't see us beating Philly but who knows!

Minnesota is pretty dang bad on pass defense. And they're bad offensively without Peterson in the game.

I do think the same. I'll take it if we'd be the 3rd seed. But at the same time it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth regarding the NFLs overall strength.

Pushing everything to the limit just to quench out the maximum amount of money isnt aways the best thing. They are ruining this really enjoyable sport bit by bit. But that is another topic.

If Chicago loses tonight (likely), they would have the same record as us. If we both win next week, Chicago would own the tie-breaker, and be the #3 seed from what I understand. Is this correct?
