Cowboys create more than 19m in cap space with three restructures

They can't extend Pickens now. This could be to carry over into 2027's cap to help sign Pickens then.
Lol lol lol you're funny, no Stephen is funny! I can see them paying two top WRs big money. Stephen just mentioned it the other day, next thing you know Pickens will be the highest paid in NFL history lol

Correct, they can not extend Pickens until the season is over
Can the agree with him in a deal “in principle” and then make it official in March? Or are they not allowed to negotiate until March?

no, that would have the union all over them

You do not carry $30 million over when you do not have to
so those claiming that are idiots
Doing this NOW can only mean they are going to spend a lot of it

I think after the preseason Jerry is about to lock up Camden Brown and Joe Milton. After the last 48 hours I think Jerry is panicking and wanting them locked in.

4D chess baby

I doubt we will trade for Maxx but it is interesting that his salary is 30 million and we just freed up that amount. I can dream about. I think that would put us where we want to be barring injury.

Interesting. I'm not getting my hopes up. It seems to be a common thing in Dallas to carry forward significant cap space. Might have something to do with potential mid-season moves, maybe? Not really sure how that works.

That said, I'm not opposed to another addition, or even an extension for Pickens. Don't expect it, but wouldn't hate it.

And as much as Goofsmell hates Jethro the league would come after the Boys as well
Oh yeah, there would be fines and draft picks removed. Also I like that “Goofsmell”, nice. That’s a good one
