You hit on an important point. We play better with the lead . And I think why our HC often risk those early 4th downs as he senses this as well.

We just don’t execute as well if we get off to a slow start .
That’s what I was thinking. We get that spark and put up points. Seems to change the playcalling and the team as a whole just plays better. The plays come easier. Those splash plays happen.

But when we are flat then the drops start. The head shaking starts. And I was hoping when this happens I wish we would go hurry up. Line up and fire off. No long developing run plays. Just go.

But that’s more about the hype around the game. If we go deep into the playoffs it’s going to be more of a team effort than one guy carrying us . That’s not a recipe for success. I’m not sure Dak is enough for that. And there’s nothing wrong with it.
Oh, that's just me looking for a glimmer of hope. Winning two playoff games in one year hasn't been done in two point five decades.

Obviously want DC in SB but I’m thinking Cards.

I'm fine with being a safer, smarter 4th seed than a risky, dumb 3rd seed.

Please protect our players.
Yea, I’d much rather be a healthy 4th seed than limp into the playoffs or without key talent as a higher seed.

I wouldn’t want to play the Rams or the Vikes again. Cam Newton doesn’t sound fun either. It’s going to be a tough sled to get to the SB folks for any team.

There is no easy game. You're either playing a good team or a solid team that's hot. As you stated, you can make a case as to why any team in the hunt will be a tough matchup.

That 4 seed seems like a death trap. Whereas the 2 and 3 seem like excellent matchups teams should win handily
Want to avoid playing 1 of the top 4 3 times to get to the SB, which is why that 4th seed needs to be avoided at all costs.

Won't matter what seed we are if the inept offense we saw vs the broncos or chiefs shows up were toast. Don't forget we also didn't dominate the chargers or vikes offensively either, defense saves those days.

Oh no doubt. It's smart.

I believe you make decisions out of fear of the worst possible scenario.
No doubt it’s balancing act. You want to try and maximize your possibilities currently but not with the potential of jeopardizing down the road.

I don’t give this offense much of a shot in the playoffs without a fairly healthy Tyron, Zeke and Lamb along with Lawrence and Gregory on defense. That’s probably too much cumulatively to overcome against the best teams in the conference.

Oh absolutely.

I'm not looking for courage or bravery. I don't want to go all out to win a title and the let the chips fall where they may. What I want is a cowardice submission of what might happen unless we retreat to safety. Quickly.

This is how you win football games.

I'd love to have dlaw and randy back but i'm really still amazed we held KC to 1 td and only 19 points without DL or RG. Seems the defense with 1 elite player is finding a way to keep games competitive while the offense struggles with its "elite" players.

Turnovers is a key.

It's either that or win two road playoff games in the same season for the second time in team history.

Beating GB and TB on the road in consecutive weeks ain't happening. Don't care who is healthy or not.

Notice how all the talk about the Cowboys getting the number one seed has dissipated on this board? If they lose on Thursday everyone is going to be hoping the wheels don’t come off and they still make the playoffs. No one will care what seed they are. Lol
