They need a 3rd running back for depth more than a tenth offensive lineman. Only Javonte Williams and Tyler Goodson are on the 53 and Abanikanda is on the PS. They needed another body somewhere, if only for practice reps.

When I saw Leverett play during preseason he looked physical and like a decent back up.
