..well, its good stat to have. Least you know the possibility of getting turnover is probable.

Exactly.......not to mention there's a higher percentage of this stat impacting the QB on every play.

The pressure stats will eventually lead to increased sack stats, this defense is evolving probably at the same rate the offense is.
Might be great timing.

The sum of numbers for the defense and offense will explode up over the next three games...my guess.

The strength of the current defensive line is affecting this:

An athletic marvel at his size (6'3", 337 pounds), Mazi Smith hasn't gotten many snaps so far.

His snap count has gone above 20 just once in eight appearances, which is partially due to Dallas having a loaded defensive line. While he could evolve into a true three-down defensive tackle with time, he's primarily been pigeonholed to a pass-rushing role on long down-and-distances. However, one pressure in 64 opportunities to rush the passer won't sway defensive coordinator Dan Quinn into allotting more snaps.

Again, it's a tough rotation to crack in Dallas, but expectations were to produce in bunches in whatever role Quinn assigned.
Grade: D

Oh, he will grow...but more slowly than first wanted.

Now post red zone stats. Dallas 29th
Now do Goal to Go %. Dallas 31st

FG’s don’t win championships.
Now explain this:

That's the passer rating that belongs to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in the fourth quarter of one-score games.

In those situations, the sophomore seventh-round pick has completed just 15 of 32 passes and has zero touchdown throws to three interceptions. No regular starting quarterback with more than a dozen attempts under those circumstances has a rating as low as Purdy.

The Iowa State product has also completed just 52.9 percent of his third-down passes, a rate which ranks ahead of only Mac Jones and Geno Smith among regular starters.

It all paints a picture that suggests Mr. Irrelevant 2022 doesn't have what it takes to carry the 49ers down the stretch and on a Super Bowl run.

Then:

So this furthers the idea that Prescott, Lamb and McCarthy (obviously there are more people involved, but you get the point) are able to overcome the issues of the offensive line and are having success through the air. Consider that Lamb just became the fourth wide receiver in team history to record at least 450 receiving yards in a three-game span as even more proof (2018 Amari Cooper, 2009 Miles Austin and 2007 Terrell Owens).

Agree 100%........it's a serious issue. I mean they are moving the ball, just need to find better finishes.
