The Cowboys are ready to get their offseason workouts and OTAs underway. We take a look at how things might play out for the 90 players invited to spend the summer with the big club. For now.

We're just four months away. The Cowboys will take on the New York Giants on Sunday night, September 13th, leaving four months of hard work, dedication and preparation for the players and staff in Dallas. While there will likely be several moves made between now and the roster cutdown days in August, we do currently have 90 players on the Cowboys roster that we can poke, prod and analyze as to their fit and value.

Here, we'll do just that, and attempt to put players in their rightful spots, creating our best-guess scenario as to not just the 54 man roster (an extra spot will be available due to Greg Hardy's suspension, however long it ends up being) that starts the year, but also the depth chart

God, we are weak at the 1 tech - actually the whole DT position looks concerning.

It looks week because Hayden is still here. I just don't see why the staff is so reluctant to get rid of him. He's not a run stuffer. He can't take on double teams. He's not a pass rusher.

I hope Bishop shows some real improvement this year. He's about the only legit 1T we have. McClain can play there, but the guy is always hurt.

Whaley could be a guy that can play there.

Gardner and J Crawford I think will be moved inside. With the additions of Hardy, Gregory and Russell it's clear that they don't see Gardner and J Crawford as ends here.

DT - T Crawford, McClain, Bishop, Whaley, Gardner, Hayden
DE - Lawrence, Hardy, Gregory, Russell, Mincey

When Hardy comes back I'd like to see either Hayden or Mincey cut. Ideally J Crawford would make it instead of Hayden, and then Mincey gets cut when Hardy comes back.
