The average PFF grade of the Cowboys top 6 DL is #3 in the NFL. They are second in the league in sacks and second in sacks by DL. The Cowboys lead the league in number of passing plays disrupted. On running downs, the Cowboys DL is #7 in first contact at or behind the LOS.

A very solid argument can be that the Cowboys, somehow, have a top-5 DL in the NFL this season.

2018 is pretty much already set in stone for them all to return.

After that? It’s up to how the players perform. You would like it if Taco made some strides and made it easier for us to let go of either DLaw or Irving.

Not having that true 1T is hurting against the run, but it's hard to complain about what they're doing as a pass rushing unit since Irving returned. Still a little streaky, but overall strong.

Visions of CJ Anderson, Todd Gurley and Aaron Jones slashing through our secondary leave me wondering if the run D has really been fixed. Today will be a big test.

Being weak at 1T, MLB, and SS Is just something we're gonna have to live with this season and hopefully we do enough to mask those deficiencies through scheme. Upgrades there are priority this off-season.

They will have good test today in containing not just Hunt in the running game, but to also contain Smith. I think they need to keep him in the pocket, do not let him scramble or get to point where he can run.

I think they need to make him throw his 1st pick this year, and would be nice if multiple picks.

But the key is still, ball control, and with Zeke if we can play keep away from their O getting on the field is huge. But we must get TD's and not settle for FG.s
