Everything with Frederick is front of him. He just isn't giving up ground like the collection of stiffs we've had at C the last couple of years.

Frederick is everything he was advertised and we hoped he would be. Leary is playing pretty darn well too. Arkin has been solid. The middle of the line has dominated.

They need to add to that helmet rule to make it a penalty to tackle the player who has lost his helmet. If the play is dead then the defense needs to stop even if the player keeps going. They can see the helmet is off and it doesn't matter I'd he keeps going because it's coming back. If the reason for the rule is player safety then it needs to be a 15 yard penalty to tackle a player who has lost his helmet.

The backup tackles look bad, but the interior looks good. Tyron Smith made a few good blocks earlier. Hard to tell how Free did. I think Frederick earned the starting center job. Costa needs to go for RG if he wants to start.

Take Frederick and Leary out. Ive seen enough. Glad to see Costa warming up. Arkin is a big question mark. Got pushed back into backfield too much. Maybe Berny wont be quite as terrible as he was last year with Frederick next to him.
