Congratulations to CZ for the impressive knowledge that was displayed in regards to the draft.

The level of knowledge around here has increased significantly over the years, IMO.

Yes, there are still some people that say and do dumb stuff, especially when they get emotional; however, in general, the knowledge was impressive both of the specific players and of the process.

In addition to the knowledge on display, most people remained quite clam which has not always been the case in some past years.

To echo that, I think this is the first draft I witnessed where there seems to be overwhelming positive feedback on......

I can't recall a draft where the fan base has been overwhelming in agreement over. Granted, it means nothing in the larger scope of how it pans out... but its quite remarkable. I was under the strong impression that we could somehow walk away with Garrett, Foster, Lattimore, Howard, Adams, Bennett, and Williams... and that the fan base would still be torn in half as to whether or not that was a good haul or not (never mind plausibility of such a haul; not the point). But this draft proved otherwise. Found it somewhat amusing.

Granted its way too early to call things, but the last 2 drafts look like home runs.

I like to add I want to thank everyone for all the draft information and especially keeping me up to date on Saturday. I spend some family time and could not watch the draft but CZ kept me updated even though where I was the service was spotty at best. It was much appreciated.

I think people would like our drafts if we didn't always blow the 2nd round picks. This is the first year where you are getting starter that can play now with no injury history.

One of the things I have determined over the years is that if a majority of the board has a strong belief in a player that player usually pans out pretty well. That's not a new phenomenon. It says something about the collective intelligence of this board.

Jaylon is playing this season so he wasn't a waste either

This needed to be said.

One of the most enjoyable draft seasons I've had the pleasure of taking part in. The knowledge, insight and level of communication on this board has evolved and made talking all things cowboys a pleasure.

I am not sure if that is a function of optimism or not, but my magic 8 ball says "Yes".

To all those that like to knock me for my bold predictions... I nailed our #1 draft pick and still have not heard one apology from those who pre-draft said I was wrong for saying Taco would be our guy. Honestly I expected this much. That's how you know-it-all's operate. You know who you are.

Just as soon as I get credit for the Ryan Switzer pick

lol, really? Look, I don't know anything about your predictions, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day. That's nothing to brag about.

Several people here tried to take credit for Dak pick last year as if that had some type of inside knowledge of that outcome, but you know how much credit I give anyone for that outcome? (even pro scouts for teams including Dallas scouts) Yeah, absolutely NONE! That **** was a lottery hit. PERIOD. Nobody could have predicted this outcome without nothing but a wish and a prayer.
