We all have our opinion's on prospects. Just wondering what you guys think our Cowboys draft board would look like at the RB/CB positions. Trying too keep it too players we've shown interest in. Here's my guess...

RB - 1. (Gurley) 2. (Gordon) 3. (Ajayi) 4. (Coleman) 5. (Abdullah)

CB - 1. (Johnson) 2. (Peters) 3. (Jones) 4. (Rowe) 5. (Collins)

We dont seem to have interest in Abdullah. I would guess

1: Gurley
2:Gordon
3: Ajayi
4: Coleman
5: Yeldon
6: Davis
7: Allen

With the knee concerns on Ajayi I bet he is off our board

If teams were concerned about Ajayi's knee then they would have requested a combine re check, heck we requested a check on Winstons shoulder.

I don't think there's any such thing as a 'small trade up' when it comes to the first round.

I was trying to say that I would be fine with trading up five spots or so. There is no way that I would want to see a trade up of ten or more positions. I know you are an AP advocate, but I would rather see the draft picks used to move up and get Gurley than trade the picks to the Vikings. The main reason isrue to the age factor and getting Gurley for five years in his prime.

Even a move like that would likely cost you a third round pick, so you'd be giving up a 1st and 3rd rounder for him.

I wouldn't want to give up both a 1st and 3rd rounder for either of them to be quite honest.

The main reason isrue to the age factor and getting Gurley for five years in his prime.

You might end up getting Gurley for 4 years though, as he might not be able to be the bellcow in year one. And, as much as I like him too, he's an unknown commodity at the NFL level, as every rookie is.

They don't talk to a prospect at the combine, go to his pro day, have him come in for a visit and take him out to dinner with the coaches if they have him off their board.

Ya really, It's obvious they like him a lot. He's certainly the 3 down back we need.

Thanks, I thought Abdullah came in for a visit? But ya I could see them being higher on those 3 especially Yeldon.

Last year Browns gave up a 3rd just too move up four spots too 22. It's very expensive Gurley is probably worth it tho. I personally will be happy if we have Gurley or AP lol. Both would look real nice with the STAR.

The Browns overpaid by a lot.

1st Rd pick 22 Overall = 780 pts

1st Rd pick 26 Overall = 700 pts
3rd Rd pick 83 Overall = 175 pts

If the draft pick chart is still even close to right, Cleveland overpaid by 95 pts. They should have at minimum got back a 4th from the eagles. The trade up for Dez is a better example of what it should take to trade up for Gurley.

Was listening to Sirius a few weeks ago. Bill Polin was on and someone brought up the trade value chart. He laughed and said he has never used that chart and does not know one GM who does. Said it was something created a long time ago, that now mainly fans pay attention to. I thought that was kind of interesting.
