Cowboys Draft = FAIL

Look guys I understand that the offensive line needs some improvement, but I also know we had one of the worst if not the worst defense in the league. Defense should've been a bigger priority period.

Are you serious??????? (that's been my response to a lot of these dumb threads)

You must win the battles up front!!

I didn't know the draft was over.

I bet you 100 bucks I can show you a previous year's draft where a horrible defensive team took an OT higher than 9.

Want the bet? Salvage what is left of your dignity, clam up.

It was, thats why they hired a coordinator like Rob Ryan

For trolling...

There are other threads he can post in. He is trying to troll, it is obvious.

Ill just respond to yours since you were the last to commit on my last post, but note that I am also responding to the other 2 as well. I don't know how to do the multiple quote thing.

I do understand your point, but to me I do believe he was genuinely angry and letting off steam. I don't think that warrants a banning.

I think there's still more rounds in this here draft.

Hornito isn't allowed to let off steam?

Check yourself man.

Our failure to block cost us our QB last season, we ended the season with our 3rd string QB. We should have done this years ago it was long over due. There's still 6 rounds left and FA to look at other things OT was hands down our biggest need

I know I'm a little late to the party and this topic was probably covered in another thread, but I'm wondering why the Cowboys couldn't have pulled the trade w/J'ville?

Does anyone know the details - if any - of the offer?

I'm not saying OL was a bad pick in the first rd., but I just wish the Cowboys had more picks w/so many needs (unless of course we have faith in the FA market). Plus, the fact Smith had a scope on his knee makes me wonder if he would have stuck around till later in the first

I know he was a lot of people's #1 OL prospect, but if I recall correctly it was based primarily on potential.

Just asking

As for drafting an olineman at number 9 being a fail. I guess drafting D'brickashaw Ferguson, Jake Long, Joe Thomas, Jordan Gross, Chris Samuels, Orlando Pace, Walter Jones, Anthony Munoz, Mike Munchak, Jonathan Ogden, Willie Anderson, Tony Boselli, Willie Roaf, Lincoln Kennedy, Richmond Webb, Lomas Brown, Chris Hinton, Jimbo Covert are all huge FAILS too. These are all olineman, tackles except for Munchak that were drafted in the top 10 since 1980. All are either in the HOF, on their way to the HOF or multiple Pro Bowlers, All Pros.

Seriously taking an o-lineman in round 1 with pick 9? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
You like seeing Romo in a Body bag every year? You need horses up front and they don't come cheap. Learn the game before you post, seriously.

Why, for speaking his mind? Is that what forums are for? I don't agree with either, but he should still have the right to let off steam if that's what he wants to do.

This will be the same guy blaming Romo for sucking when he doesn't have time to set his feet to throw a pass.... Smh excellent pick by Jerry and I want Cannon and moffet on the line too!! We need o-linemen big time! All the teams that are solid upfront are consistently good!! The game is won in the trenches!!

Let's make this simple, from now on I'm the only one allowed to let off steam...

Or pass gas... same difference...

I think he was thinking about Solder being available at 17, Castonzo at 22, Carpenter at 25, Carimi at 29, and Sherrod at 32 so why not trade down to a team looking to move up for a QB and pick up an extra pick when you can still pick up one of these guys. Don't think anyone called us to offer a deal though so water under the bridge, plus Smith is going to be awesomeness personified.
