Man where is the draft countdown? I can't take it anymore:bounce:

I predict we actually end up picking at 5 or 6 of those spots.

Jerry is going to have a hey day trading picks all weekend.

So much for the "we traded half our draft" for Roy Williams argument.

I think the beef was always the first rounder, but it's a pointless argument now.

I hope Jerry does trade around, pick better selections with like 5 or 6 solid players.

We need to hit again, I truly believe in TC so lets hope Jerry listens again.

We have the ammo to get some good players regardless.

AMEN.

I never bought into that argument anyways. That was RW haters.

Agreed, what is done is done.

Time to move on and with 11 picks, we should have a pretty good draft!!!!

3 of the top 100 picks is still pretty good. (actually 3 of the top 101 to be exact). We should be able to get some pretty good guys with those picks, however I feel that Jerry is going to be doing alot of trading.

Just dont see us actually keeping and drafting 11 players.

Reality check, in the NFC beast the majority of teams will have picked three times before we have picked twice, how do you keep up with that kind of handicap? Better yet how do we keep their taillights in sight to the SBowl? Pass the kool-aid and wait for the spin from the best carnival barker in the league. Uncle Jerry will tell us a yarn of optimism. Care to have your weight or age guessed? We have a lot of work to do to no matter what Jerry tells us, from our receivers are good enough, the OL being a strength, and we don't need a D coordinator like the other 31 teams, this is where the gloves come off and this is how it starts. It was the worst of times, it was the best of times, Cowboys 2009. Go cowboys.

I'd like to see us trade our 3rd, one of our 4ths and one of our 5ths to Detroit for the first pick of the 3rd round.

There are always 3-4 players at the top of the second day that are shockingly still on the board...I'd like to have our choice.

We will not move into the first round...the guys with first round grades will be long gone. We might move up 3,4,5 slots at most in the 2nd round if we see someone we are really excited about, but I think most of our draft trades will be on the second day to move around and get the players we want in those rounds instead just waiting to see who's there.

Well, I guess I should go ahead and cancel the NFL Sunday Ticket subscription for this year. Apparently there's no reason to watch.

Exactly. As bad as we were at the end of last season there aren't 11 "holes" in our team, IMO. Hopefully he trades some picks to get some add picks in rounds 3 and or 4.

Uhhh, by drafting WELL??

And why is it that guys like you always talk about "reality", when you really mean "negativity"??

With 11 picks, the Boys have the ammo to have a very successful draft, especially given their recent rep for doing well on the second day... but you're already ready to assume that we'll get weaker while all of our competition will get stronger...

Guess you've already forgotten that they drafted six players last year, and all six played in the NFL (though Erik Walden, their last pick, played for another team)... so in the one draft with Tom Ciskowski heading things up, they did REALLY well... given that, why are you so quick to assume that they won't do as well this time around??

Yes sir, you're a regular Chicken Little... show you a silver lining, and I'll bet you can find the cloud... :D

You're quite the ray of sunshine...

I don't think so. With the success Dallas had last year, as long as there are good players left on the board, I think Dallas will be content to let the chips fall where they may and select the best available. Of course, if a particularly good prospect seems to fall farther than he reasonable ought, Jones may move up a few spots to get him, but I don't think he is going to go hog wild with trades.

:)

I find it funny over the last 4-5 years lets look at some of these late round picks that have produced

Crayton -not an all star but a solid contributor tot his team
Ratliff- Pro Bowl
Barber - I am not going to over hype him a good player not great but dam good
Bradie James -see Barber I may give him crap sometimes but he is still a good solid player

So lets just give up in this Draft

Well, I'm happy to agree with Bear . . . this time.
