people keep sayin (which i presume is jokin) that "we're on our way to winnin the division AND gettin a Top 10 pick".....but this is not possible, correct? playoff teams, no matter record are spots 20-32 right? Im just wonderin cause Ive heard SO many people, including Steve Young say it.....I dont what to believe anymore.....in college I thought you had to win 6 games to get to a bowl, but come to find out 5-7 teams can still go bowlin in some cases.....Im startin to feel like Sgt. Shultz here.....

They are just making a joke. Playoff teams automatically get those picks (20-32) based on when they are eliminated and then regular season records.

Cowboys are going all in on this race to lose in the first round of the playoffs, so the draft is starting to lose its luster for me. Prob going to pick somewhere between 10-15 and select a CB or DT. Johnny Football to Dallas is deeming more and more inevitable, for better or worse.

If tonight was going all in, you should keep an eye on the draft. 1-9 on 3rd downs, 65 rushing yards(RBs), 220 passing yards, 317 total yards and 3 turnovers. D. Jackson saved the game for them with his pure stupidity and they still nearly screwed it up. I will be shocked if the team isn't picking top 10 on draft day.

This isn't correct. We'd now be flipping a coin for the 7th/8th/9th pick (with SF & Detroit). Have to be careful, a lot of these "updated draft orders" look at the year to date strength of schedule. It's not accounting for the records of the last 4 teams on each team's schedule. So while we'd have the 6th pick currently, taking into account our SOS through Game #12, when you incorporate Green Bay, NYJ, Buffalo and Washington, we slide to the 7/8/9 slot.

Here is the most accurate current draft order (2nd column is team wins, last column is combined win total of their 16-game schedule)...

1. Cleveland 2 102
2. Tennessee 3 95
3. San Diego 3 101
4. Jacksonville 4 93
5. Baltimore 4 97
6. New Orleans 4 100
T7. San Francisco 4 101
T7. Detroit 4 101
T7. Dallas 4 101

No he's been going around saying that crap to everybody talking about tanking, losing getting, better picks or anything of the ilk. He meant it exactly how I took it.
