Looking back at those drafts from 1995-2001 were just brutal!

its a bad joke. 1995-2001, we selected 39 players. only 3 players, Randall Godfrey, Greg Ellis, Dat Nguyen.
95.- 5 picks 0 players
96.- 5 picks 1 player
97.- 5 picks 0 players
98.- 5 picks 1 player
99.- 5 picks 1 player
00.- 5 picks 0 players
01.- 9 picks 0 player

Parcells only had one good draft in 2005 with 2 first -Ware and Spears.

BRUTAL.sad story, our reality

Every player drafted 16 or higher ended up being a damn good player...except Mo Claiborne.

Greg Ellis (will always get compared to Randy Moss but he had 8 seasons of getting 7+ sacks. If he had played in this decade where teams pass even more, he'd probably have gotten more sacks)
Roy Williams (those first few years)
Terence Newman (elite from 2003-2007)
DeMarcus Ware
Tyron Smith
Zack Martin
Ezekiel Elliott

But people keep saying there is not enough for defense.

Look at who we play, and not at who we draft. And when you do look at who we draft, look at what round. 2017 being the obvious exception, where nobody ought to be complaining about not spending enough defensive resources in that draft. Though we did also let almost the entire secondary walk in free agency that offseason.

I clicked on Randy Gregory and it said no news in the past 90 days. I took that as a positive because as they say no news is good news, lol.
