Cowboys Drafts: Highs-Lows...ex. Parcells era

Just to show how hit and miss the draft can be, I'll list some highs ad lows from the Parcells era (4 year sample works well). I could have used the current staff's 3 years record, but 4 is a better sample size and last year was too soon to really grade. If someone wants to do the Phillips era, go for it.

You'll see that there some amazing highs and lows.

BEST (over 4 years)
R1: D. Ware....awesome
R2: Julius Jones....oh well
R3: J. Witten....great 3rd rounder
R4: M. Barber....nice 4th rounder!
R5: Pat Watkins....oh well, it was the 5th rd
R6: R Petitti....oh well
R7: Jay Ratliff....steal!

WORST (this is ugly)
R1: B Carpenter....4th rd maybe
R2: Jacob Rodgers....yikes
R3 Peterman or Hatcher...could be worse
R4: Bruce Thornton...ugh
R5: Sean Ryna...ugh, ugh
R6: Zuriel Smith...ugh again
R7: EJ Whitney

I guess I could add a BEST list for Phillips and staff, but the sample size is so low, it'll be hard to get a worst list so soon (ie..only 1 2nd round pick in 3 years)

Rd1: Mike Jenkins...excellent....Felix better someday?
Rd2: Marty Bennett...too early to tell..only 2nd rounder so far
Rd3: Jason Williams or Brewster...too early
Rd4: Tashard Choice...steal....maybe Free some day
Rd5: O Scandrick...good 5th rd value
Rd6: N Folk?..maybe J Phillips some day?
Rd7: Manny Johnson?...way too early

So you can see why I did the Parcells era.

folk isn't a bust, he might be but its to early to say that, he just had one bad season.

he's a bust for Dallas, not for the rest of the league, be more specific buddy. Busts are guys like Ryan Leaf, Lawrence Phillips, not Folk. Wth are you talking about ' if he doesnt do it for dalals he's a bust'. Thats like saying LT broke all numerous records at SD but when he comes to Dal and does squat, hes a bust. LOL.

your backwards. LT was drafted by SD and had all his accolades with them. benson for example is a bust for the bears. the bears picked him he did nothing he was released he is now a good RB, doesnt matter he was a wasted pick for the bears therefore that pick was a bust. we are on the other side of that with BIGG.

folk is a bust seeing as how we are talking about cowboys drafts and the picks that were made by us.
