If that were to happen, I bet Mike McCarthy would still walk away. He would be in demand and would likely look to sign with another NFL team. A team with out a jerruh jones.
a very fair point. MM may just have had his fill of drama, gossip and this Jerryatric owner...and decide it is time to move on.

I’d rather have Kyle Monangai from Rutgers

Yeah,
reaching that teens level draft pick spot is a possibility.
I didn't like the Cowboys constantly getting embarrassed by 30 at home.
But then again I believe the higher the draft pick usually benefits a team more on a percentage wise basis.

So I guess I can't have it both ways.

I think I'm trying to say I would have preferred the losses in a lost year but just not in an embarrassing fashion like they have been.

Beating a couple more bad teams this season hurts the draft pick philosophy.

As bad as this team is, 8 wins is reasonably possible.

Imagine that. 8-9. With all the injuries. 5-2 down the stretch with a backup QB.

That might be enough for the lunatic to go all continuity once again in the offseason.
Cowboys-Bengals in two weeks could be a wildcard elimination game on Monday night football in two weeks. There is a reason Jerry was giddy after game.

This Cowboys team is going nowhere in the playoffs. If Jerry and Co were smart (they are not) they would tank this season and add some legitimate talent to the roster.
