That would require them admitting they were wrong about something.Would be nice if the front office finally recognized their failures at the DT position year after year.

I watched Galli consistently blown off the ball 5 yards vs the Eagles. It was truly pathetic.Watching Gallimore I am really disappoint at his ability to hold up to blocks. I thought Gallimore would be something like DaVon Hamilton of the Jags. I actually was hoping the Cowboys would draft Hamilton. But Gallimore doesn't seem to have the strength of a guy like Hamilton. At this point, I don't think Gallimore brings anything to the table.
The Cowboys should sign Payne regardless of $$. He is a 1tech that plays over 80% of snaps. Most 1techs play about 50% to 60%.I wish we could get Payne at Hankins cost lol
Yeah, that's not happening
- I'll take the bet that:
- They either sign a legit staring free agent DT or draft one in the 2nd round or earlier.
- I should get good odds on the bet since the vast majority of fans don't believe that it will happen.
Not even close to being the answer. He was a 1 year rental...Hankins the answer?
Do we resign him?
And 11.5 sks this year. But I don't think the Turdies let him hit free agency. The Cowboys should sign Payne regardless of $$. He is a 1tech that plays over 80% of snaps. Most 1techs play about 50% to 60%.
It would be stupid not to re-sign him. He's at a stage in his career where he's getting vet minimum and he's still a very good run stopper. Best on team. Not even close to being the answer. He was a 1 year rental...
I take that as a no, lolNot even close to being the answer. He was a 1 year rental...
Why not offer them Stephen Jones...at least they would always have money. The Cowboys should do a "borrow" trade.
- Trade a late round pick to the Rams with the agreement that they'll trade him back to the Rams for 2023.
- I would give a 4th just to get him for the playoffs...
FYI: This is intended to be humorous. It would never happen and even if they wanted to do it, the trade deadline has long since passed.
I was thoroughly intrigued. I said this could workThe Cowboys should do a "borrow" trade.

Should have gotten Suh.
Can't blame him.Suh likely didn't want to play in Dallas. He's notorious for hating the Cowboys.
No.
Yes.
They need a 1tech that has Hankins ability vs the run but also has pass rushing ability.
Hankins will often be off the field for 2nd and 10 or 3rd and 5 type situations where it could be pass or run.
- Definitely off the field on 3rd and long.
The Commodes 1tech DT (Deron Payne) has played 87% of snaps this season.
Hankins career high is 69% and that was back in 2016.
- He has averaged 34% for Dallas with a max game of 42%.
- His season with the highest snap% is lower than Deron Payne's lowest.
