Its really annoying the way they pretend every deal and every player pick is so immensely complicated we couldn't fathom how to put together a team.

I understand it takes a lot but so much of it is obvious. As owner you put smarter people around you. You make good hires and you take educated gambles. I dont know why we need to pretend they are doing neurosurgery.

I think it is just funny watching people talk about intelligence in the context of the success or lack thereof.

In my experience, it is much more about leadership and vision. Seeing an opportunity and having the leadership to get a thousand people on the same page. Intelligence helps but is not the key.

Then you have ninnies around here thinking they should blow it up and simultaneously thinking they wouldn't be so much different than the professionals.

Right,and after filling the tank Ol Jerry and Son need to take a cruise,Into the Bermuda Triangle they are in a different dimension .Dallas I believe has improved the team depth so far but this ownership just does not operate like the top teams in the league .Selectively Aggressive ,that Stephen called their free agency approach actually means 2nd tier players in the early period.They chose the type of players they always choose ,they just did it earlier than usual.Sanborn and Fowler are good additions ,but Ol Jerry and Son are still penny pinching .This draft better be an A or Dallas will not be in playoffs.

Not according to many fans on here. They never do anything good.
Glad the fans do not run the team. Jerry has bad moments, but many fans would be worse.

I was going to say Becton. Improved greatly last year moving to guard for the Eagles and was near the top in run blocking.

.....but the chargers just snagged him.

Too expensive for Dallas , he was a tier 1 free agent this team don't sign these type players.

I think their drafts are a mixed bag. They have done stuff like take Dware and wait on Spears. They passed on Johnny football and took Martin, traded down and took Tfred. So I'm not completely punking them.

However, they took Jaylon in round 2, Taco over Watt, traded up for Mo the moron etc.

It really is a mixed bag and you could probably go off a draft guide and go highest available and have similar success.

It is significantly easier to have success in the draft when you take the best player available.

Our current strategy of not using FA, forces us to reach to fill holes.
