I don’t think the bad man is playing tomorrow. The injury happened to late in the week.
Doesn't appear like it with us calling up both centers. I assume Hoffman will be the starter. That's really a blow.

Richards and Bass were pleasant surprises. The same people who found and developed and kept Richards and Bass, also found and developed and kept Hoffman. That is definitely a plus.
They kept Richards and Bass on the roster. Hoffman was so good they risked him to waivers. I think we wanted to re-sign Farniok but he didn't seem to want to return here when he was cut. That's why we grabbed Harlow. Weakest position of depth IMO.

Bass will probably start at center. I thought he was getting second team reps.

I'll be surprised if he's ready to do that this quickly. Learning to snap a ball isn't that easy, especially when you have a 300-plus-pound DT breathing down your neck.

Well he seems to be the next interior backup. I would think the Cowboys trust him over practice squad guys.

At guard. Playing center is a whole different animal because of the necessity of being able to snap the ball cleanly. If he's already picked up to the extent that they are comfortable with him, he would be a quick study.

I bet he tries to go. The call ups are if he tries and ends up not being able to start, or he does and ends up having to come out.

Even if they play it safe and rest him, we should be alright vs Arizona. Emphasis on “should” lol

I have to agree with those saying this means Biadasz is likely not playing. Remember, Tyler Smith had a hamstring injury and missed 2 games. Never believe the Cowboys when they talk about injuries and who can play the next game.

I have no idea what the Cowboys are doing in practice but this is getting ridiculous now with the practice injuries.

I can't really criticize what the Cowboys have done this year because the results speak for themselves, but not having 2 Centers on the roster seems very strange to me. They are obviously trying to protect some one they are keeping on their 53 man roster they are afraid will be picked up if they waive him and try to put him on the practice squad. Who is it? Eric Scott? Juanyeh Thomas? They are carrying 4 RBs this year, which is unusual for them.
Agreed on the Cowboys are protecting a player or two, but there is currently a spot on the 53 available. Use it to fill it with a good backup Center. Everyone knows who I'm thinking about since he definitely is better than Hoffman.

How is the Cardinals’ defensive line? I don’t pay attention to the Cardinals.

Mehhh the QB needs to just keep getting rid of the ball quickly and you'll never notice the backups.

3-4 front. Starting DE Watkins (former cowboy is out).

Two guys who will give us trouble are Dennis Gardeck and Victor Dimukeje. Don’t sleep on Zaven Collins as well. Very solid 4-5 linebackers.

Secondary is just decent. Big downgrade without Budda Baker. They can play … but they aren’t the Jets

If you are thinking Farniok, I would agree that he is a better option than Hoffman, but something tells me he left on bad terms and is not coming back. IMO, considering what they had on their roster, they should have made a spot for him on the 53. I would feel a lot better about the OL today if Farniok was playing than I do about Hoffman.

The Cowboys mistake was not ensuring they had a decent backup at Center even if they wanted to let Farniok go. But consider this, if they wanted to sign a quality backup at C, then they would have to make a spot for him on the 53 man roster. They obviously did not want to do that which is why they cut Farniok in the first place.

Not great but if you're potentially missing Biadasz, Martin and Tyron, that's extremely dicey regardless of the opponent. Let's not forget that Steele while healthy doesn't look quite like himself yet.
