Interesting,
Davis 31 and weighs 320lbs, has never done anything noteworthy in his entire career other than being drafted late in the 3rd round, so he is the big man.
Johnson I have zero clue on, they cut Evans and we have nothing left on the roster that could be considered a LB other than Malik Jefferson or a Tyrus Wheat coming out of DE
responsibilities and being asked to fill that role.
It is very obvious and has been for some time that Q believes firmly in his hybrids, and traditional LBs are phased out on this roster.

Johnson is 6'2", 240 lbs, so I guess he adds about 2 lbs of beef to the LB corp? Probably a special teams player.

I agree. The thing is we had the perfect fit at LB in this scheme in DeMarvion Overshown. When he went down in the preseason the Cowboys never really replaced him. I know Markquese Bell had some moments but he's a safety, no matter where the Cowboys list him on the roster.

Things will be a lot better next year when Overshown is back, but this team still needs more actual linebackers.

Cowboys desperately trying to beef up front 7 against one of the better offensive lines and physical teams in the league.

I agree, but the problem has been and still remains that drafting an immediate replacement is never a solid buisness move.
I have a lot of love for Overshown going forward, I watched his college play at Texas and I was thrilled that we drafted him, but the problem is that he was a rookie, depth is not solely on what and who you draft, this staff has a major issue on finding bridge gap transition players.

You are being an adolescent and not even understanding what I posted, grow and learn and then respond.

Oh well at least he's an ACTUAL LB and not a hybrid safety. Davis doesn't need to be spectacular just don't get pushed around in the middle and that's good
