I agree, but the problem has been and still remains that drafting an immediate replacement is never a solid buisness move.
I have a lot of love for Overshown going forward, I watched his college play at Texas and I was thrilled that we drafted him, but the problem is that he was a rookie, depth is not solely on what and who you draft, this staff has a major issue on finding bridge gap transition players.

They are still alive for the 1 or 2 spot with 2 games to play. Evidently, they are doing something right.

I just can’t wrap my head around this team’s constant inability to scout talent for the middle of the defense given how good they are at other areas. There haven’t been enough injuries at those positions to be here right now. And it’s the same thing every year. It’s borderline embarrassing.
