Washington put up little effort, it seemed, in its 45-12 loss to the New York Giants Monday night. The Cowboys aren't expecting that this Sunday from their rivals.
"They won't do that against us," wide receiver Roy Williams said. "They don't want to get embarrassed twice on national TV on a national stage playing against America's Team. It's just not going to happen. They're going to give us their best shot. We going to have to handle it on the road, probably in the cold and the fans, that place is going to be rocking. We're going to have to bring our A game. I'm not going to say anything about packing our bags because that goes somewhere else. We're just going to have to show up and hopefully play well and win the game."
Williams was referring to his comments last week leading up to the New Orleans game that was looked at as some sort of guarantee. He didn't want to go down that road. And Bradie James did not want to go down the road of the Commanders looking bad Monday.
"Has nothing to do with us," James said.
