Fantastic move to not let him bet on himself this year. We will need to see the full terms of the contract, but a $13AAV put him at Dawson Knox money....just ahead of Hunter Henry and just behind Njoku. Sounds about right for good not great TE.

But the deal is also pretty cheap. He’s basically getting what Dalton Schultz was making 3-4 years ago when the cap was way smaller

I like this move. Should have done this with Schultz, but it seems to have worked out favorably in Dallas. It is a bit of a gamble that he returns to form, but prior to last season, I thought he was poised to break out as a superstar. Lots of potential, just need to coach it out of him.

Im sure Micah knows what is holding up his deal...... if he agreed to the exact same structure that ferguson just did. I bet the deal would be done. Maybe Micah is wanting a no trade clause and fully guaranteed deal. If thats the case, would you sign that if you were jerry>? I wouldnt.

It is last minute lol....It's training camp right before his walk year. Same as Lamb/Dak last year its just that coming off a bad season Ferg wasnt on anyones radar to talk about.
