Cowboys Fan Gets Tormented

As some of you remember, a few weeks ago I mentioned that I was moving from Dallas to Tampa Florida. Well, I arrived here safely last night, however our apartment wont be ready until this weekend so we are staying at my sister and brother in laws house until then.

My brother in law is a Colts fan by birth so when he was setting up a place for me to sleep he deliberately made me sleep under an Indy Colts blanket.



For years I've heard about the torment Dallas fans living around the US have suffered at the hands of the fans of local teams and thought "what a pity." Well I guess it's my turn.

I havent encountered any Bucs fans yet, but I'm sure it will come soon enough. Guess it's time to polish the hammer.

Hey StarK, what part of Tampa are you in? I could give you a heads up on places to go. We spend more time in Tampa than we do in Lakeland. Stay away from Dale Mabry by the STadium. That is where the nekid women are.

Got to love the weather tho huh. And wait unitl Winter when everybody else is freezing their butt off and you are lying by the pool working on the tan....

Yep, everyone I talk to says I'll love Tampa, so I'm looking forward to getting myself a Mapsco and doing some exploring in the next few weeks.

Also looking forward to checking out the scantly clad women at the beach this summer.

I used to go to Tampa all the time on business and have always enjoyed it. But it's been several years since I have been there.

Only thing I can say bad about it is that it's the lightning strike capital of the world.....or so it seems. We used to have a major problem with it blowing up computers. Invest in some good surge protectors. :laugh2:

Hey, hey, hey, wait a minute. Let's not confuse Starkist. Posterchild cares not about his fashion choice in swim wear. As I stated or implied, they (meaning the aforementioned scantily clad women) loves... I was just trying to help him with the ladies.

You should not have to worry about Buc fans. They are the biggest bandwagoners you have ever met. You are liable to see as many Cowboy, Steeler and Packer fans as you are to see to see Buc fans. Let them have a couple of losing seasons in a row and their 40,000 waiting list for tickets will go to them giving tickets away just like the ol days. Of course they justify not going to the game by saying there is way too much to do in Florida. I have yet to figure that out.

you are way the other side of the world at Countrway and Waters. I think I am closer to downtown Tampa than you are. Just stay off I-275 at Rush Hour. If you do drive it, be sure and drive slow in the left lane. If you do that, you will fit right in.

Citrus Mall is close to you. A pretty good AMC movie theatre there. Enjoy!!

Two nights ago I was almost hit by five police in a high speed auto chase. About 12:30 AM Wednesday night a couple of men car jacked a woman at a adult vid store before starting a high speed chase through Tampa and I get struck in it.

I've never seen so many police come out of nowhere in a matter of moments. There must have been 25 emergency vehicles in addition to the media. The chase ended five minutes later with gun fire and one suspect getting away.

Must have been a couple of frustrated Eagles fans.:laugh2:

Good luck star. I moved from Dallas to Philly a couple years ago. It hasn't been too bad of a beating from Eagles fans. When they learn that you'ra actually from Dallas and not just some frontrunner, they seem to give you a pass.

Yeah he's here. We have a special zone just for CBZ. Maximum speed is like 3 MPH. People park their car and walk past his house cuz it's faster.

In Dallas we had park and ride for the bus system. Here we have Park & Walk to get past CBZ's house.

In the school zones we have ice cream vendors. In the senior zones we have pea soup/salad vendors.
