I did stop buying merchandise.
I used to go to one game a year except this past year.
I watched just a few.games this season. Unplanned.
I didn't care if we win or lose but often found myself rooting for the other team.

I will not support Jerry. I am unhappy my favorite team is where it is. I have found other forms of Sunday entertainment.
So basically I don't care enough to care about cowboys.

I think this way of thinking is what the Jones have always banked on and it is very flawed. There is only so much a fan can take for so long. I am telling you from my perspective, I have become less interested in training camp, and the Cowboys in general the last few years.

I have been watching Cowboys games as far back as I can remember. Early 80s. My father even got a Satellite dish in the 80s (those old montrositites that were on top of your house and use to wake up the entire house when it would move) just to watch Cowboys games out of our area. In all my years I missed one game because my VCR broke and that game was the game Irvin ended his career in Philly. Now I am pretty sure I will not watch every game next year. I just have lost interest and have gained frustration. More and more of this will happen to people if they keep up this idea that people will just continue to follow this team.

Wife and I no longer have season tickets and my wife is adamant about not purchasing ANY Cowboys merch. She dislikes the Jones family even more than I do. We remember the days when Jones would make moves in FA. Not anymore. Just like hiring Schottenheimer because it was a cheap move.
