Looks like a blow out win over another NFC East opponent has delivered the SB hype again with the fans and confidence this team needed headed into the playoffs .

Never mind the Egirls had declared it was a meaningless game resting most of their starters while almost a dozen were out from protocol .

While many of us felt this was a meaningless game on the most part we plunged ahead full speed feeling a win of any sorts was needed if nothing else for perception this team is ready for a run in the playoffs.

But what if this blowout win is a false positive we are more ready and prepared for the Elite teams in the playoffs . Much like our swagger and SB hype after our blowout win against Wash.

We shall find out next weekend .

I did....

But the same 'swagger' was felt after beating up on a decimated WFT team, and how did they follow that up against a better team the following week?
Did you not sense my sarcasm ? And critique of the swagger ?

Under the circumstances, it was a good outcome. Offense got some rhythm reps, teams seems to have have emerged healthy and a win is always better than a loss.

The team will go as far as Dak can take them. We witnessed last week how the Cowboys are vulnerable to a good team that put the clamps on the offense. It exposed their wobbly nature when they cannot play complimentary football.

It doesn't matter who the Cowboys play next week. If the offense can't move the ball and not play from 2 or more scores behind for most of the game, they won't win.

That’s a fair assessment .

Everybody concerned about our running game, even Ito got into the end zone... player X

I understand sarcasm very well as it got me slapped in the face when I was in 9th grade by a teacher...meanwhile, I don't think our team was competing for swagger last night. I think they were trying to win. We can go round and round until we are blue and silver in the face but the results IMO are exactly what they got on the plane to do. Doesn't matter if they won by 3 pts. or 25. "You play to win the game". It is what it is. I love cliche's.

I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter. It was like a preseason game.

Keeping Rayne and Ezekiel in the 4th quarter of a meaningless blowout game to break a tainted 17 game season records was stupid at best and shameless at worst…….an injury would have been devastating

I'm happy about ending the regular season on a high note. Even though it was really a glorified scrimmage, it should help keeping the offense in rhythm. As for the bad run D, I'm not reading much into that. I know we had starters on the dline most the game. I don't believe they were going all out.

Now on to the playoffs.

Doesn't matter what the Eagles decided to do, the Cowboys staff did what they had to do and the players they left behind wanted to play in PHL.

I think that AZ loss did more damage to their psyche than we are aware. Actually had players telling Lisa Salters they wanted a rematch with AZ. Usually, players do not state a preference but I believe it sticks in their craw that they lost to team that is not better and I believe some things might have been said during that game by the AZ players that lit a fire.

The Cowboys could only do what they could do and the goal of the coaching staff was to get their heads right going into the playoffs. McC left Prescott and the other O starters in there a lot longer than I thought he would when the game was no longer in question but I do not think winning that game was ever job 1. It was all about how they played, limiting the mistakes and exploiting the opportunities.

And getting some records for their players was important to both coaches. That was not a meaningless game. The outcome and score might have been but not what they needed and wanted to have happen and crazy as it sounds, PHL actually got some positive out of a game when giving up 51 and losing by 25.

Glad Cowboy "fans" feel like they need to start threads after Wins to try and make other fans as miserable as they are.

Like the playoffs, last night's game was not about the opponent. It was about executing the way the Cowboys know they can. They did just that.

Next week they just need to execute. Do what they know they are capable of doing and they should advance to the next round.

Did you read the post or just respond to title ?
Lol did he remove the posts lol?. Man I agree I don't care WHO you play , it's the NFL they all get paid to play. At this point football people know it's about the little things in this game and yes confidence can be had if you got out there and hit your points, decision making, run good routes, catch good balls, run tough, and play sound footbal. Nice to beat up a team your suppose to beat up. Because I bet if they would have lost or barely won this board would REALLY be crapping itself.

The Cowboys are capable of playing at a very high level, which they did last night, which is why it is so frustrating when they play poorly.

I think we’d be crapping ourselves if we’d of had a costly injury.

It was a game where we had minimal to gain. And much to lose.

We shall see if it pays dividends next week.

We usually only play poorly at least offensively against teams with better defenses and or teams with Elite QB’s.

I’m not sure this game was a good measurement for us but at least we feel good about it . I hope it’s not a false security everything is fine .

Losing to the Cardinals mash unit at home is still too fresh in my memory.
I’d be more concerned about our overall performance since New England. This looks like a different team from 6-1 to 12-5 except for a couple undermanned divisional opponents. We shall see.

Are we more like the 6-1 or 6-4 team ?
