It's been my observation with contract negotiations in the past that both parties should do their absolute best to negotiate in good faith to make worthwhile progress. It seems that's been a missing factor when it comes to talks being conducted by the Cowboys front office and the player agents. They should be working with one another, rather than against one another. It surely seems that's not happening, regarding the negotiating process with the Cowboys' front office. That's just foolishly shameful.

Showing due respect and empathy throughout the negotiating process is a necessary ingredient in a successful negotiation process. Some GMs do act as mature adults, while others do not. At some point observance to acting as mature adults is paramount to negotiating success. Respect must be a priority if successful talks are to prove possible. Putting egos aside is the functional requirement for achieving successful agreement. Does the Dallas FO follow that rule religiously? Sorry to say so, but I doubt it.
