Cowboys Front Office of the Future

I'm guessing we have, at the most 3 years left of Parcells, most likely two.

Therefore, my front office of the future prediction.

Owner and President: Jerry Jones
I'm not quite sure how old Jerry is, but I think we have a very long time before he retires/leaves the Cowboys for Stephen to take over. I think he's learned his lesson and will keep working as a team player with his new coach. He's not going to be making all the big decisions again.

General Manager/Scouting Director: Jeff Ireland
I don't think it will be very long before Jeff Ireland gets a GM gig offer from another team. Jerry will want to keep him, and either give him an expanded role/promotion, or make him the GM. There's young talent right there. Another option is that Parcells does what he did with the Jets and becomes GM when he stops coaching.

Head Coach: Mike Zimmer/Charlie Weis
Two options.
1. Jerry will most definitely hire a Parcells coaching product to continue his philosophy. He will stay loyal and consider Mike Zimmer. Mike Zimmer will become a head coach in this league, if not with the Cowboys, then someone else. If Jerry doesn't make him his head coach, he will lose him as his Defensive Coordinator.
2. The other option is Charlie Weis. I think Charlie is Parcells, but a little softer. If he wants to coach in the NFL, he will be the coach of the Dallas Cowboys, because Jerry won't let him get away. However he has said that he wouldn't even consider leaving Notre Dame. It's his school, and he's happy there. If Weis becomes coach, our offense will explode, and Drew Henson will be the starter.

Cowboys front office of the future? They will have computers so advanced that they won't have keyboards, you can just think what you want to appear on the screen. Also, Jones will have one of those wheelchairs like Captain Pike in Star Trek where all he can do is signal yes or no. On draft day, the scouts will wave holographic pictures of the best players available and Jerry will signal, one beep for yes. Two beeps for no.

President: Stephen Jones.

GM: Anyone with skins on their wall like Casserly, Pioli, and hey I wouldn't be adverse to seeing Ireland if he can understand the money end of the exercise.

Coach: Go for a coach who has had at least 10 years as a coordinator, 5 years as a head coach and been HC with at least two teams.

Winner or loser, experience counts in my book. To go to the college ranks I would only accept someone with a sterling resume on and off the field.

Parcells: Next year, 2 more, 3 more, 10 more ? Who Knows. Its always going to be a question mark as long as he is the Cowboys HC.

Future Cowboys Head Coach, Mike Martz. You heard it here first.

I cant see Zimmer being that guy.But again who really knows ?

I also cant really see Charlie Weis leaving ND within the next 4 years.

If the Cowboys fail to make the PLayoffs and make a run then PArcells will retire I'm positive of that. I'm leaning towards 1 year either way.

Sorry, this is the most disgusting photo I've ever seen.

Michael Irvin was the heart of our Super Bowl teams. TO is a freakin punk with no clue.

I saw someone on Star Trek 2.0, the show on G4, who looked familiar. Was it you?

I think if the Cowboys go deep into the playoffs, Tuna returns for ONE more shot.

Hell no to either Zimmer or Martz!

If the money is right and Weiss can inherit a SB contender then maybe. That would be one HELLUVA hire!

I agree, TO and Irvin are not in the same class! irvin had heart and loved his teammates. TO is a selfish punk.

When Stephen takes over, unlike Jerry I think he will hire a GM. Ireland would be a good one.

The future is bright for our Cowboys! We have a young defense that will keep us in games for years to come. Now, we need to find the QB of the future. Is he on the roster? Not sure yet but we need to find out REAL soon!

I think there is a good chance we could have a lot of disappointed zoners in the not so distant future..

On the message board? Yes, that was me. I tried it a few times. I think the first was on "Mudd's Women." I used the same handle obviously.
