Cowboys Gamesmanship From Here On Out

The plan is to start Dak against the Bucs but at some point in the game we get Romo in to take some snaps. This will create a world wind of outside noise. Now the Lions will need to prepare for both QBs and if we mix in some Romo further down the stretch we can keep the playoff teams guessing as well.

We hint at naming Romo the starter for our matchup in the Divisional round, only to actually start Dak or vise-versa!

If we have two weapons at QB we should be making teams devote time to preparing for BOTH options.

It's unconventional. But it's time to win.

This isn't Madden.

What's your point? Both players bring something to the table. Just because the NFL norms dictate 1 QB must play the entire game barring injury or suckiness doesn't mean we can't do something different.

Dak Prescott is and should be the primary starter.

The Lions already know Romo. They don't have to plan for him.

There is going to be no best-of-both-worlds. Either Dak starts and continues playing unless he gets injured or Romo starts and continues playing with Dak relegated to the bench.

Musical quarterbacks doesn't work.

It's not even about who the starter is. This is the psychological games we can play with coaches and players before the game even begins. Think about the time they would have to spend to prepare for Dak but also go over Romo game film too.

It has not worked in the past when teams have done this including when the Cowboys did it. this is not baseball where you pull the starting pitcher to bring in relief.

IF Romo plays in any capacity other then mop up, we are not in a good place.

Right. No way this happens. They're not even starting to think about considering thinking about doing this.

If this happens, you lose all the chemistry and the locker room. I'm sure Romo DOES really want this. So far he has had two house parties. Has Dak been to either?

NEED to RUN the BALL 35 TIMES, Dak PLAY ACTION and BOOTLEGS and DESIGNED RUNS

I'm still trying to figure out what a "world wind" is?
I think the collective "sighs" of disbelief from the football watching world would be strong enough to create funnel-like wind patterns globally. I imagine the effect wouldn't be dissimilar from a whirlwind.

Why stop there? Let's go ahead and play Sanchez and really make their preparation difficult
