Cowboys Get Some Love - In The Herd Top 10

The Cowboys finally got some love.

Colin put them in his top 10 on The Herd. :starspin

Not a big deal really, but we finally got some love.

Now lets hope the Boys arent paying attention - usually when they get some positive press they dont respond well.

And how is that unreasonable, exactly? Both teams have better points scored/allowed ratios than the Cowboys, both teams beat the Cowboys (in Dallas) in their last meetings, the Cowboys are the most injury-riddled of the three, and he still has them all bunched up together in his list.

If Giants win that game and get the front four going..watch out - Eli could be raising number 3 onto this mantle. Dallas has more pressure on them out of the three. Giants have already proven they are champs. Commanders are just starting out with RG3. Dallas has been in similar situation what feels like a thousand times now.

This may be true but it's going to take a lot of help for the Giants to get in and it's not very likely, they are not in the "win and in" group. Also Eli has never carried the team on his back and it's always taken a team effort by the Giants to put something together and that's just not happening in New York right now. I'm not calling our team superbowl bound, but the likelihood of that is much more realistic for us than the Giants. As far as the skins I would say their situation mirrors our except that the general media expects more out of them. Past performances and records from previous years are out the window, each year, especially as of late, there is that one team that sprints from the rear of the pack to become contenders and there is nothing that makes me think that this year it won't be us. The tell tale sign is being able to win while riddled with injuries, regardless of the opponent, because as we've all seen the term any given Sunday has been no more apparent than it has been this year.

That being said I would love to make it in as the NFCE champions and play the wildcard game in Dallas against Seattle. My dad now lives in Olympia WA married to a lady from WA who does nothing but run her mouth about the Cowboys. I've had to listen to this crap since they moved there and I can't imagine what it's like living in the same house as that lady. He must be a man of patience because I would be single living back in Texas if it were me.

The Ravens are frauds. Joe Flacco is a slightly better version of Scott Mitchell, and the defense broke bread with Methusalah. The Giants should beat them.

Im not as enamored with the Vagiants as so many are. Sure they won 2 SB's but it says more about the quality of play in the NFL than it does about them. Things simply worked out for them at the right time.

You should go post that on some Ravens forums. They think Flacco is the 2nd coming of Joe Montana, except he just doesnt have the supporting cast that Montana did.

All we needis two more wins.As has proven out in recent years,its not the team with the best record that wins the SB,its the team playing hot in December and so far the Cowboys are doing just that.Would love to see Cowoys hst the Shehawks so they can get revenge:laugh2:

Cowherd has always liked the Cowboys. He loves Romo and the young talent we have put together and I've heard him predict good things for us in the future multiple times. That's why I've never understood Cowboy fans dislike for Cowherd, he's always liked Dallas.
