Game vs. Cowboys gets highest TV ratings of Lions' season

The Detroit Lions lost by a point to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, but the game scored big points in the television ratings.


The game had a 27.3 rating and a 52 share in Metro Detroit, the highest this season for the Lions in both categories. A ratings point represents about 19,000 households. Share is the percentage of homes tuned to a particular station.

By comparison, the previous week's game against the Vikings at Minnesota had a 21.2 rating and 40 share in Metro Detroit.
