Not unless Graham falls. I'm not interested in a tackle making a switch to guard that high. They wouldn't be the best players on the board at that point. Not even remotely true. There are several.
ISOLATION
I also play Madden. If this actually happened though, I would take a LB or DL at #44 or #51 position.Jerry should do nothing but trade the 12th pick. If my GM hat is on, it goes as follows:
Call Denver at pick 12 and offer it up to Denver for picks 20 and 51.
When 20 comes along, and you still have 3 of McMillan, Burden, Egbuka or Golden on the board. You call LAR and trade our 20 for their 26 and 90 picks.
At 26 you will have BALT, DET and WASH next after you. You have to think at least one of the WR will still be left on draft board. But those 3 teams have other pressing holes to plug rather then WR. But Buffalo right after them, would have a hole to fill in their WR core. So you gamble and make one last small trade down to recoup a 4th rounder and trade #26 to WASH for their #29 and 4th round #128.
In my mock, I have just turned pick #12 into #29, #51, #90, #128. This to go along with #44 and #76 that I already had. That is 6 picks in the top 130 of the draft. My mock is as follows:
#29 - Matthew Golden (WR) Texas
#44 - Trey Amos (CB) Mississippi
#51 - Quinshon Judkins (RB) Ohio State
#76 - Carson Schwesinger (LB) UCLA
#90 - Brayden Swinson (Edge) LSU
#128 - Ty Robinson (DL) Nebraska
#149 - Jackson Slater (IOL) Sacramento State
#171 - Dillon Gabriel (QB) Oregon
#174 - Danny Stutsman (LB) Oklahoma
#204 - Jaylen Reed (S) Penn State
#211 - Ajani Cornelius (OT) Oregon
#239 - Jaylin Smith (CB) USC
#247 - Jaylin Lane (WR) Virginia Tech
i def could see a wr.I think it’s TMac, and if he’s not there, Johnson or a trade down if there’s a deal to be made.
Totally agree! It could be a long year!Disagree with him when he said" you build it from the outside-in".
Ever since 2016 they've been doing that exact thing and that's why they can't run the ball and can't stop the run.
I'm a believer in building it from the "inside-out" where the trenches are the main thing.
No wonder Jerry hired him
yeah, he kinda blurred the lines a bit when he threw in tackles who I would consider "inside", top DT or OT would go a long ways in fixing the run D and running game. Sounded like he was singling out guards, centers and nose tackles as being less important, lolDisagree with him when he said" you build it from the outside-in".

Schotty comes in talking Jerry %#@& off the bat. Has he been asleep for the last 3 years ..... we're RUN deficient (both sides of the ball). We never get to see the outside, not because of talent, but because we don't earn it through the run.Disagree with him when he said" you build it from the outside-in".

Good post. Example of the ‘cowboys zone’ fans not knowing what they are talking about and just throwing out stuff against the wallGuyton - 1st, Beebe 3rd
Smith - 1st
Parsons - 1st
Mazi - 1st
Williams - 2nd
Kneeland - 2nd
Osa - 3rd
How much more investing can they do?
Out of 5 OL, 3 were day 1 or 2 picks. Martin was also a first.
On DL all four starters are day 1 and 2 picks.
Out of 9 possible starters in the trenches they invested 7 day 1/2 picks out of 9. It would have been 8 if Martin returned
You guys don’t understand what he meant lolyeah, he kinda blurred the lines a bit when he threw in tackles who I would consider "inside", top DT or OT would go a long ways in fixing the run D and running game. Adding to the rotation of Osa, Thomas and Mazi is what they should be looking for. There is no Aaron Donald type DT that would be best for them to draft high enough. Adding to the LB and CB core is a higher need then DT. If the players drafted there can help plug the gaps it will make up for the big bodied DT everyone wants to draft to stop the run. Stutsman is a beast against the run, its where he excelled most in college.Overall this would be great ! But is Ty Robinson a run stuffing space eater ?
why be scared of lamb when we can't get him the ball, I hear you though-Offense has to get more balanced and explosive, nobody is afraid of anyone not named Lamb
-Defense is all about getting better stopping the run and shoring up depth in the secondary
What do the Jones do best? Draft offensive weapons that make the team sexy. If they stay the course and draft WR and RB they will make this team better. Throw in a couple of trade downs in 1st which they are also good at, and this draft has the ability to be a home run for the team.goal vs what am I expecting?
goal is a every down impact player on either side of the ball.
I'm expecting a Taco over Watt selection.
