I wonder. Change the rules, change the game. Maybe there isn't a great defense against this with all the new alignment requirements.

As someone else said, if not, it will become standard for all teams. I hope so.
Otherwise kickoffs are a waste of time and should just be removed from the game.

Me too.

But maybe they've unintentionally introduced a weakness in kickoff return defense that the Cowboys were the first to exploit, but will become standard. I hope so. I'd like to see kickoffs be a real play again instead of an official bathroom break.

Why do lions fans at a home game bother you?
The only way it affects the game is if they are making too much noise when dallas is on offense.

If your watching on tv the camera will give shots of lions fans all dressed up , when lions do something good.
That may make it seem like a lot of them are there, but we really dont know how many are there.

I didnt notice any excess noise when dallas had the ball, but I am going to rewatch and see if that happened.
If alot of noise, it could be lions fans or just stupid cowboy fans.

Despite all the penalties, our special teams has quietly been pretty great this season. We lead the league in both average kick and punt return yards as well as FG points (at least before the bye this week). We're also top 10 in average punt yards.

Probably highlights just how bad both our offense and defence has been this year when our special teams has been killing it like this yet we still get destroyed each week. Still, should give props to the one part of our team actually performing
