Brandon Carr watched it. He had no choice.

It was a horror show for the Dallas Cowboys cornerback.

Monte Kiffin, the Cowboys defensive coordinator last season, left Carr on an island with Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron, against the Detroit Lions last year. Even as Johnson continued to catch deep ball after deep ball, Carr didn’t get help.

So, Carr was asked Friday, what was going through your head as you lived that game over again this week?

“I said, ‘Brandon, you’re pretty brave, and you have a lot of pride for playing with that game plan last year. Good job,’” Carr said.

Carr was obviously not happy with the game plan last time.

Was that actually the game plan? To keep him isolated and not adjust if it's not working? That game was winnable other than Megatron getting over 300 yards, so Kiffin is responsible for missing the playoffs as much as anyone else. One extra game would have helped so much

Hard to believe they won the game by one point after such a dominant performance. They won't get that today. Not even close.

Cowboys have faith in Carr, I'm glad they do. Not sure I do.

He's gotta have safety help today, at least on 3rd and longs. Maybe Golden Tate beats Dallas, but I'd make him prove he can do it before I'd let Megatron rack up 300+ yards again.

Last year was more about the safety help that Carr was suppose to be getting as it was about his coverage. They had a nice break down of how Carr's job was to force Megatron inside on those big plays but the safety was no where to be found. The one time Heath was actually there Megatron just went up over him and made the catch anyway.
