It's clear as day they don't know how to manage a roster. It's also clear they struggle with valuing FAs. How many times have we learned that they were so low in their initial offers to players? It just happened this week when Denver dropped that contract on Gregory and they scrambled to match it.

I don't think overpaying is the problem. I think the issue is they have no desire to pay market rates for some of these better players. They slot their money and the players have to fit into that salary parameter. So they just go down the list until someone accepts the money they have slotted for that spot.

This franchise is always just going to bounce around in purgatory as long as Jerry and Stephen call the shots.

Literally. No one wants to play for Dallas anymore with this inept front office
