Never before have the Cowboys gone this deep into a season without yet playing a division game. Their first division meeting will be against the Giants, in Dallas' 7th game of the season.

To put it another way, 6 of the Cowboys' last 10 games will be against divisional foes.

We're looking at an extremely intense 2nd half of the season.

Isn't that the time of the year when we have all those injuries? Someone in the game scheduling hates the Cowboys!

They have to get their OL back because thus far their running game has been a joke.

Foles is all over the place. He looks jittery. And their defense has little shot of shutting us down. I like our chances. Even 4 out of 6 division games gives us the division title.

At 4-1 if the Cowboys just match their division record from last season I think they'll have a decent shot at the playoffs. I know most people are writing off this week already but a win this week has such huge playoff implications I hope the guys can come away with one.

Other than health, I kind of like it because it gives us some time to get our feet under us and work out all the bugs before facing the rest of the East.

And it might benefit us healthwise, with players like Spencer, Melton, McClain, etc., getting more time to shake off rust and get their bodies back. Obviously, though, we have to hope that injuries don't crop up before we get to that point.

I hate it. You should have to play your division foes once in the first 8 games and once in the second 8 games. Period. It is ludicrous that it is not that way.
