Cowboys Have Not Been Utilizing Parsons' Entire Skill Set

Overall I would agree, however its also a lot easier to say Parsons needs to be lining up all over the field than it is actually doing it sometimes. It really comes back to this team needs to be better on run downs so they can force teams into those obvious passing situations so the Cowboys can use these different pass rush looks. That AA gap look Zimmer uses often can be a great tool, but its a pass down look. You also have the issue of losing some of the guess work from the offense if you line up Parsons in the middle. Typically you'll bring LBs down to show that blitz look to make the offense guess if they are coming or not, but no one in their right mind is going to be dropping Parsons into coverage so in an odd way it takes some of the guessing game away from the offense and allows them to set protection accordingly. Not disagreeing with you, and hope the next DC looks to prioritize getting Micah in the best position to succeed, but I do understand why its not always that easy.

You see him in the commanders game coming up the middle, and you have to wonder why they don't do that more often. Move him around the line. Just having him rushing from the edge is too predictable. He'd be more effective and the defense as a unit would benefit more in my opinion.
The announcers for one of our games seemed to indicate that Zimmer allowed Parsons to move around to pick his matchups, but that he'd often stick with aligning himself over the right tackle.

Now, I consider that to be on Zimmer. If you have a weapon like Parsons, you should be the one choosing how to deploy him not leaving it all up to the player. Players can be a bit single-minded.

you will NEVER ever see full use of a players talents.

JJ believes in mediocrity not elite.

Parsons can cover though. I don't know. I'm just saying. Look at the Commanders game. He was effective in the middle. You put him on the weakest OL and he's like magic.

He moves around a lot. They pretty much let him pick his matchup
